Nintendo is re-launching the NES for $60 with 30 pre-loaded games

Nintendo is about to release a new console, and it’s not the NX. Introducing: The Nintendo Classic Mini.

Here’s what they told us so far:

  • It will cost $60
  • Extra NES controllers will cost you $10
  • The controller can be attached to a Wii remote for use with the Virtual Console on the Wii or Wii U
  • It ships on November 11
  • It comes with an HDMI and USB cable (for power)
  • It’s tiny and cute and the best
  • Games come with ‘multiple suspend points,’ allowing you to save your progress and not throw your remote at your TV when you remember how much harder old-school games were

As well as the mini console and games, the package includes an NES controller. The Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System is set to go on sale on November 11 for $59.99. That’s a mighty tempting price for a gaming nostalgia trip, but for the full experience of the original console look elsewhere because this device doesn’t ship with physical games. That means you won’t have to blow into them in order to get the games to work.
