The popular nineties all-girl group, Spice Girls are making a comeback. They are reuniting for their beloved fans in a 2019 tour but Posh Spice fans will be disappointed as she will not be joining the rest of the band. The tour is set to begin on June 1st at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. The tour only has six shows as of now, ending in the Wembley Stadium in London.
It turns out, Victoria Beckham, better known as Posh Spice did not decline the invitation to be part of the reunion tour as there was no invitation to decline in the first place. The four Spice Girls said that Victoria had already previously and repeatedly mentioned that she no longer wanted to be a part of it and so they no longer bothered to invite her.
Mel C or Sporty Spice, Mel B aslo known as Scary Spice, Ginger Spice, Gerri, and Baby Spice, Emma have all expressed their support for all of Victoria’s new ventures and are happy for her. They simply did not bother to invite her out of respect. They did not want to force her into doing something she didn’t enjoy doing anymore.
Mel B said in an interview that she recently crossed paths with Victoria Beckham and she asked why she wasn’t invited. She replied that the four of them simply assumed she didn’t want to be invited anyway. But, Geri emphasized that Posh Spice is welcome to come back and join them anytime.
According to Ginger Spice, Geri, they are planning to come up with new music as well citing that it has to be an organic process, that it has to come naturally. Although admittedly they will be performing their top hits for the fans as that will be why they will come to the reunion tour.
