ATLANTA, Ga. – Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan throws serious shade at NeNe Leakes after the latter compared herself to Beyonce.
The drama started when NeNe Leakes appeared on Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored. During the interview, she mentioned that her leaving the TV show RHOA was like the time Beyonce left her group, Destiny’s Child, to pursue a solo career. She announced her departure from RHOA in September 2020 after an extremely long and tiring negotiation behind the scenes.
NeNe’s comments weren’t at all well-received, especially by many fans and other RHOA stars. She made it seem like her role in the famous TV show is much bigger than it was. While she’s among the original casts of RHOA, comparing herself to Beyonce is a bit much, and Claudia Jordan didn’t hold back on sharing her opinion about it.
According to Claudia, NeNe Leakes being an OG cast contributed to the TV show’s success over the years. But she wouldn’t go as far as comparing her to Beyonce, leaving her former group to go solo. The American talk show host candidly expressed how she feels about NeNe Leakes, saying she was great while on the show. Claudia also explained that NeNe was funny and always fun while she was on the reality TV show.
Her initial comments might not be too harsh, and she doesn’t look like she’s throwing some shade. But that wasn’t all that she said about NeNe.
Claudia went on, recalling that NeNe Leakes was the best part of the TV show right around the time when Destiny’s Child was still complete. Fans know that the girl group broke up a very long time ago.
Claudia Jordan was insinuating that her former RHOA costar had stopped being a real asset to the reality TV show for a very long time.
