This week, Megan Thee Stallion reprimanded false statements that she had been arrested on Sunday, July 12, and revealed that she had been shot multiple times.
“On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me. I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets,” she wrote, in part.
Following Megan’s Instagram post, her friend Kelsey Nicole, who was the other woman located in the car, came forward on her own social media to also set the record accurate. “I want to clear up the rumors that I shot Megan. I WASN’T the one with the gun and would never do something like that. However I was present,” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post.
The alleged accused in Megan’s shooting is rapper Tory Lanez, who was arrested at 4:30 A.M. Sunday morning at a Hollywood Hills residency on a concealed weapons charge. Megan and Lanez were supposedly chilling out at a pool party last Saturday evening at Kylie Jenner’s residence.
