Lil Tjay Drops His First Update For Fans Since Being Shot Seven Times Leaving Fans Relieved
For the past few months, Lil Tjay fans have eagerly awaited any news since he was hospitalized after being shot several times in New Jersey. Finally, there is an update by the man himself, and fans couldn’t be more relieved. In the Bronx, a billboard announced the release of his new music album with a sign that read “ I’m back.”
The famous rapper took to his Instagram to share an update on his condition with his 7.4 million followers. In the video, he thanked his fans for their love, support, and prayers. He also gave an update on his condition as it was a near-fatal shooting that could have had serious consequences.
In the clip, Lil Tjay is seen lying on a couch wearing a neck brace. He says, “Hey, what’s going on, y’all? It’s your boy Tjay, man. I’m just checking in with y’all. I just wanna say thanks for the love, thanks for support. I have been looking at the DMs, the comments, and everything else, and I feel love.”
He further said that it is not easy to survive seven shots but that he’s thankful to have made it alive. With that, Tjay announced the release of a new music album because he believes that is why he survived. In the end, he said, “We gonna come back stronger than ever. Love y’all.”
Earlier this month, there was news that the rapper had returned home after his long hospital stay. It was a rumor, but his recent Instagram video confirms the news. Later, the police arrested the alleged shooter.
In June, Lil Tjay was caught in a robbery incident in Edgewater, where he suffered seven gunshot wounds. He was in critical condition for a brief time and underwent surgery as well. Apart from the rapper, one of his friends was also shot.
