In the previous month, The Rolling Stones unveiled “Hackney Diamonds,” marking their first release of new music in nearly two decades. Following this release, the iconic English rock group has now confirmed plans for a tour.
The tour is set to commence in Houston on April 28 and conclude in Santa Clara, California, on July 17. This journey will see the Stones performing in 16 major North American cities, including New Orleans, Las Vegas, Seattle, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Vancouver in British Columbia.
Audiences attending the concerts will be treated to a blend of the Stones’ classic hits and fresh songs from “Hackney Diamonds.” The band’s most recent tour in the U.S. occurred in 2021, titled the No Filter tour. Notably, this was the first series of performances the band undertook without their drummer Charlie Watts since 1963. Watts, renowned for his modest yet steadfast contribution to the Rolling Stones and an integral part of their celebrated rhythm section, passed away in August 2021 at the age of 80.
Tickets for The Rolling Stones’ North American Hackney Diamonds tour are scheduled to be available starting December 1.
