Charting New Territory: Shania Twain’s Las Vegas Trilogy Begins
Shania Twain is preparing for another stint on the Las Vegas stage. The renowned country singer revealed on a Tuesday episode of “CBS Mornings” her plans for a Las Vegas stint starting in 2024.
Set to be named “Shania Twain: COME ON OVER – The Las Vegas Residency – All The Hits!”, the series will commence on May 10, staged at the Bakkt Theater within the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Expressing her excitement, Twain conveyed to “CBS Mornings” her profound joy about returning to the stage. She emphasized her desire to inspire and uplift with her music, particularly songs from her “Come On Over” album, celebrating its 25th anniversary.
She promises that attendees can expect all her greatest hits, aiming for a memorable experience for all. Twain, who boasts sales of over 100 million albums and five Grammy accolades, stands as one of the top female country music sellers ever.
The artist, now 57, anticipates performing classics such as “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” and “You’re Still the One”, coupled with tracks from her recent “Queen of Me” album. The Las Vegas chapter will span 24 shows, concluding in December 2024.
In collaboration with Live Nation Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment, Twain pledges to allocate $1 from every ticket sold to Shania Kids Can, a charity she deeply values.
Ticket presales are expected to launch on Wednesday, with the public sale beginning the following Monday.
This upcoming stint will represent Twain’s third residency in Las Vegas. Her inaugural series was between 2012 and 2014 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, followed by her “Let’s Go!” series at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from late 2019 to mid-2020.
Recently, Twain successfully wrapped up the initial leg of her fully booked worldwide “Queen of Me” tour.
