After trying relentlessly for three years to protect their marriage Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner filed divorce papers on October 2018. In their divorce settlement both the actors agreed to support three of their children and be a part of monthly therapy which is one of the points in their divorce settlements. Even though both the actors separated back in June 2015, they’ve stayed in touch with each other and have supported their three children together.
Affleck and Garner had agreed to attend co-parenting therapy on a monthly basis; for at least six months. Furthermore, according to one of the news reporters, the couple had also promised not to use derogatory statements against each other in public. Both the actors further agreed not to argue or yell at each other in the presence of their children. Their divorce documents have been sent to a Los Angeles court with the help of Laura Wasser.
Wasser at first had been hired by Jennifer Garner, but then the celebrity judge turned into a mediator between the two actors. Wasser tried to negotiate so that both the actors can easily reach the final agreement with ease. According to one of the news agencies, the divorce will be official once the judge signs on their divorce papers. The news about Affleck and Jennifer’s divorce became public after two weeks when Garner was supposedly linked to John Miller who is a businessman. It is Jennifer’s first relationship after Jennifer and Ben parted their ways.
Meanwhile, the Batman of Gotham city is single, after his break-up with Garner; Affleck had dated Lindsay Shookus about a year. Lindsay and Affleck broke up in summer 2018.
