Megan Thee Stallion’s new project Traumazine is all set for release. Recently, the singer revealed the tracks of her upcoming album. Unfortunately, however, Megan Thee Stallion having a feud ahead of the release with 1501 Certified Entertainment, and it’s not pretty.
Stallion claims that she revealed the tracklist ahead of time because the label had leaked her album’s release date, cover art, and song titles without her consent. She tweeted, “Y’all know I always have problems with dropping my music under this label.”
However, there’s another side to the whole fiasco and Carl Crawford, the CEO of the 1501 label, claims that it is just a marketing strategy by Megan to promote her album, and there have been no leaks by the company. He took to IG to post, “By the way, what leaks? Have y’all seen or heard any leaks?”
Furthermore, the CEO brought the singer’s manager into the debate as well. He addressed him and asked if that was the best they could come up with to promote the album. His post further read, “ Good job [you] fat b*tch… But I guess I’ll do my part to help the struggling sells.”
It doesn’t end here. The H-Town Hottie didn’t hold back from firing at Carl. She took to Twitter instantly and tweeted, “Carl be so mf mad, ahhhh haaaaa that’s why you can’t make no more money off me.”
Carl had by then deleted his original post. She further went on to address his claims of pulling a marketing stunt. She wrote, “All of a sudden talking bout let me help promote…bitch where you been with the MONEY to promote for the last few YEARS how tf a dumb ass IG story gone help me….”
