The 36-year-old actress organized a celebration for her “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” co-star, America Ferrera, acknowledging her role in the “Barbie” movie. Blake captured attention in her Oscar de la Renta minidress, complete with heels, gloves, and a bow-shaped purse. Her toned legs and strong arms were particularly noticeable.
Blake’s caption for the post was a simple “loud luxury,” which received a lot of love from her fans. Many complimented her in the comments, with one user admiring her legs and another praising the look.
Blake’s sculpted legs are a result of her rigorous exercise regimen, designed by her long-time trainer, Don Saladino. Saladino, speaking to Women’s Health, emphasized that resilience is the focal point of their workouts.
Given Blake’s demanding schedule and her role as a mother of four, Saladino’s goal is to ensure she feels great and energetic every day. Their sessions begin with an assessment of Blake’s current state, including her sleep pattern, followed by adjustments to the workout plan. Recently, they’ve been concentrating on full-body workouts, starting with muscle activation and heart rate elevation for 10 to 15 minutes.
Blake’s warm-up includes weighted exercises like a farmer’s carry, followed by kettlebell deadlifts, split squats, various presses, and strength exercises for the core, arms, and glutes. Cardio is also incorporated to complete her workouts.
In terms of diet, Blake adheres to the 80-20 rule, eating healthy 80 percent of the time and allowing flexibility for the remaining 20 percent, as reported by WH UK. Her diet focuses on protein, vegetables, fruit, and healthy fats.
Saladino explained that Blake starts her day with hydration and nutrient-rich foods to balance her sugar levels, without completely depriving herself of her favorite foods. For breakfast, she might have fruit and gluten-free oats, especially if she’s very hungry.
This regimen has proven effective for Blake. An Instagram photo with Saladino shows her strength, having lost 61 pounds gained during pregnancy. Blake humorously noted that pregnancy weight doesn’t disappear simply by scrolling through Instagram and comparing oneself to swimsuit models. She expressed pride in her 14-month journey to lose the weight she gained in 10 months.
