DULUTH, Ga. – Porsha Williams announced something that saddened many of her fans, although they said they would continue to support her.
The TV personality used her social media platform to reach out to fans and reveal that she will be saying goodbye to Dish Nation. According to Porsha, goodbye is never easy and saying goodbye to the TV program is hard for her to do. She said that she’s worked with the most exciting, fun, collaborative, and overall, the best shows on TV.
As many fans know, she’s been part of the show for no less than eight years. But according to Porsha, her life continues with new chapters, and sometimes that means needing to close others. She announced that her days at Dish Nation are coming, marking August 27th as the end of her era in the TV show.
Besides her disheartening announcement, Porsha Williams also took the time to express her gratitude towards the people at Dish. According to her, everyone has become a family to her and that she is incredibly grateful for meeting everyone. She thanked both those she worked on-air and behind the scenes.
Porsha also thanked Fox network and Rickey Smiley for giving her so much opportunity. She also made a shoutout to the crew for their intelligence, patience, and dedication. The reality star didn’t forget to thank her past and present co-hosts and said it meant everything to her to be part of an awesome cast.
Meanwhile, friends and fans are sad that she’s leaving but still respect her decision. One follower said that they are sad Porsha wouldn’t be on the show anymore but still excited about what’s coming next for her.
Another fan wrote that she is proud of her, pointing out that she’s flying like she’s supposed to, and there’s no shame in that. She will support Porsha Williams in her new projects, she added.
