Tory Lanez is done heckling with fans about his Chixtape 5 project. After hyping up the mixtape for weeks, the Interscope Records artist has announced the release date for his next tape and shared the official cover art.
“CHIXTAPE 5 – NOVEMBER 15,” he wrote on Instagram. “Cover shot by – @midjordan” Keeping true to form to its 2000s vibe and featuring Ashanti. Last month, Tory told fans his Chixtape 5 project will exclusively feature samples from the early 2000s. To promote this feature, the Canadian rapper/singer shared a photo shoot he did with throwback gear from that era .The rapper also announced the project’s official release date to be November 15th. The project will see the rapper paying homage to the early 2000s. “2000 -2006 … “I want to personally thank these 6 years for being the MAIN INSPIRATION to the SAMPLES and NOSTALGIA used on #Chixtape5,” he wrote in the Instagram caption. “I have never went this hard on the PRODUCTION of any of my albums .. really hope y’all enjoy what I have had the honor of enjoying for the last 8 months.”
