The I Love It star, real name Gary Garcia, had already boarded the Los Angeles-bound plane at Miami International Airport and has been waiting for take-off when among the Transportation Security Administration baggage handlers detected a strong smell of marijuana emanating from a bag bearing Pump’s legal name.
According to TMZ, the captain was alerted to this concern and approached Pump, asking him if he was carrying any drugs in his bag.
The MC insisted he was not, but the exchange became heated, with the pilot eventually ordering Pump and his supervisor to leave the aircraft and return to the airport terminal, where they were met by police.
Cops questioned the pair, but the situation continued to escalate, landing both guys in custody for disorderly conduct.
The questionable bag, that apparently belonged to a part of the rapper’s entourage, was searched, but no prohibited substances were found indoors.
Representatives for Pump have yet to comment on the incident, which marks his second arrest in as many months.
