An intruder who broke into Drake’s home in April and stole drinks has reportedly been arrested after returning to his mansion.
Mesha Collins, 24, tried to enter the Hotline Bling musician’s home in Los Angeles County’s Hidden Hills neighborhood on Thursday, according to TMZ.com editors.
Law enforcement sources told the gossip site Collins told security guards she was on a list of people allowed into the $8 million property and refused to leave, causing Drake’s staff to call the police.
She then allegedly spat at police officers who subdued her with pepper spray and arrested her for trespassing and assaulting a police officer. Drake was not home at the time of the incident.
In April’s incident, Collins was allegedly found in the Controlla singer’s home surrounded by opened water and soda bottles by a member of his entourage.
She was arrested for entering a residence with the intent to steal the victim’s personal property and held on bail of $100,000, but the charges were dropped, reportedly after a request from hip-hop star himself.
According to Drake’s father Dennis Graham, after the break-in his son hired 24-hour security.
“He’s got 24-hour security now,” Dennis told TMZ.com. “He’s got security on the grounds, and in front, everywhere now.”
Another intruder was arrested after allegedly breaking into the house, which is undergoing extensive renovations, earlier this month.
The uninvited guest reportedly wanted to meet the 30-year-old rapper and looked up his address on a blog.
